Keep A Look Out For These Nasties
Online Dating
spammers are in the main made up of girls who will offer you
the world providing you 'vote for them' on video sites where
you will be required to join, and give your credit card
details for age verification purposes only! Yeah Yeah! Then
your credit card will be hammered.
These e-whores, as
they are known, are typically from the US, Canada and the UK,
although it has to be said that some of these spammers are
males posing as females (it's not difficult to show a
pre-recorded video suggesting it is live web cam). MSN and
Yahoo Messenger are now being inundated with 'robots' who will
automatically chat to you, as long as you reply to each
message. Needless to say, their agenda is to tempt you to join
a third-party cam site and give up your credit card details.
The e-whore is paid a commission for every sign-up.
It is difficult to
believe that anyone would fall for this con trick but the
nasties continue to ply their trade, so I guess there are some
that do! The e-whores will typically join dating sites (often
chosing free communities) to contact their victims, then they
will immediately suggest you go to either MSN or Yahoo
messenger to continue the chat. Below are a few of the
